You do not receive benefits as a part-time employee in Canada.
I worked at LifeTime part time (and as a teenager), so I am not aware of full time benefits, or benefits from other departments. But being a part-time member in the Kids Academy, I received a free gym membership, discounts in the cafe, and spa. Other perks like being able to bring a guest whenever, despite paying members only getting 2 guest passes a month.
- free membership - guest passes for friends/family - discounted price on clothes, spa and food items
Canadian staff, expect to have terrible group benefits through Sun Life, without even vision being covered, and expensive coverage for dental. Vacation pay is non-existent for commission only staff. No time off really ever available in Sales due to high-pressure & long hours worked.
Flexible hours, pretty decent and down to earth team.
You get a free membership for access to the facility, you get tampons, shampoo, conditioner, razor, shaving cream, q tips, cotton balls, mouthwash, towel service in the changeroom. Food is at a 25% discount.
best: free membership to lots of programs worst: low pay for the handwork
The best thing is the free membership. It's no secret that it's expensive. But it makes us realize how worth it, it is to be a member.
