      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. J'ai passé un entretien chez Liberty Mutual Insurance (Boston, MA)

      Entretien

I applied through campus recruiting and was contacted a few days later by HR for a phone screening interview. The phone screen was informal with general questions about school (favorite class, least favorite, question about a club I am involved in). After the initial phone interview, I was invited for a second round interview in Boston. The second round includes both a behavioral and case interview. I had practiced for case interviews before and found it to be straight forward. The behavioral interview was similarly straight forward. If you're prepared you shouldn't have any issues with it.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

During the initial phone screen I was asked questions about my resume as well as general school related questions (favorite class, least favorite, activities, etc). The second round interview was more difficult, but the interviewer stuck with standard interview questions. Tell me about a time you solved a problem and a project you've worked on both came up.

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Liberty Mutual Insurance (Boston, MA) en févr. 2012

      Entretien

      1. Initial interview round on campus involving mostly behavioral questions, such as, why Liberty Mutual, give an example of team work/leadership etc. This round involved two interviews, each with one member from Human resources. Both asked very similar and sometimes overlapping questions. 2. Second round was at Liberty Mutual Headquarters in Boston. First, it was a behavioral interview with a business manager. Second, I was provided a 2-pages case and asked to answer 4-5 questions regarding that case (30 mins in total provided to read the case and answer the questions). Case was actually quite detailed with time not enough to answer all the questions. Then, another business manager asked questions about the case - why did you recommend this option, what was your thought process here. This manager told me that they intentionally keep the time so tight for the write-up part, so that they can guage your first thoughts.

      Question 1

Case part was most difficult, especially since there was not enough time to think it through.
