I was really excited for the opportunity to interview with the team at Springdale Ice Cream & Beverage. I was even more excited when they told me their interview process consisted of only one interview. However, that's where the problem begins.
I went for the in-person interview, which was approximately an hour away. I asked if they could be flexible and conduct the interview online, in order to save some money with gas prices. Nope. They didn't show any flexibility. Okay, fine. Not a HUGE deal.
Had the interview, which I thought went really quite well. Well enough to at least be considered a serious candidate. Well, apparently they didn't think so, because I never heard from their HR lead again. It's been nearly 2 months since the interview; I've sent multiple email follow-ups AND a voicemail message, and still they've never reached back out.
Insanely unprofessional, and has left a very sour taste in my mouth for them as a distributor, and for Kroger who allows such unprofessional behavior.
If this was any I dication as to how they worked as a company, then maybe I dodged a bullet.
