Arduous process, inept management, and too much vetting. 3 interviews, 2 over the phone and 1 in person. Behavioral and not technical, very easy to do. Hiring manager was unable to explain role and goals for projects.

Their IT Department has a three phase interview process.
1. Phone Screening
2. Technical interview (Teams)
3. In person interview
Honestly was a big waste of time. Interviews went well and everyone was friendly but it felt like they probably had an internal candidate lined up. I've been rejected after interviews before and it speaks volumes when the hiring manager reaches out to provide feedback and thank you for your time. Especially after three rounds of refundant interviews. Some of the questions overlapped in the screening and technical interview. To just ghost tells me all I need to know about the leadership at Kinder Morgan.

Prepare for inter view by researching company online. Be prepared to talk with a mgr and 2-4 behavior / technical folks. Overall they are looking for someone that actually can do the job described - many of the managers are actuallly hands on capable of doing the work they are hiring.
