      Candidature

J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Johnson Controls (Pune) en août 2018

      Entretien

I was contacted by a agent , who had forwarded my resume for a specific position in jonson control Pune office, Agent asked me many questions regarding my job experience and also sent me a long list of questions which i had answered in different mails. After few days agent told me my resume was selected and an date /time has been set for my interview. I received mail from agent with details about address and name of contact person with a set date and time. I reached the office 15 min before set time , i waited outside office till 5 min before time and than entered reception, I asked security to connect me to contact person. The contact person was either not available in office or was not on his seat, when security called on his mobile the person continuously disconnected the call. All this went for about 20 min or so. Than I called my agent and told about the situation, after some time she got name of another HR to be told to security as contact person. After more than 20 min second HR came and asked me for printout of my resume, which i said i don't have. HR said they don't take printout in office ( to save trees ), but require candidates to take printout ( trees are still killed any how ). and without printout of my resume she can not decide whom to talk to abut my Interview. The word she used were not bad as such but the tone and facial expressions were more like a government employee treating a beggar. like she said if you do not have printed copy of resume , talk to your agent and either cancel or reschedule the interview. This line is not bad if said properly , but same line heart when some one says this to you looking into some thing else ( like ignoring you ) I did not felt right , I did not felt like i was called for an interview and any preparation like setting up of panel , information about set time and date etc was done, I mean the HR told me that only after looking into my resume she will decide who will take the interview ? ( i was never told it was a walk in-interview ). Basically what i understand from this is all HR are independently working with out any coordination and without any common tool to handover work to each other. All and all , it was not an nice experience , I did not felt like i was called in for interview based on my resume. i don't think any senior manager were shown my resume or even informed or selected to take my interview before calling me and it was more random act. it felt more like going into a random walk-in. I said thank you , and came out , I called agent and asked her to close the case.
