It was taking a very long time. Very confused. I was told I'm one of the interviewers to be considered. Took a month and being notified the position was gave to another candidate. They asked me to apply another rec as they would like to give me an offer. Didn't hear back until a year later and said they decided not to proceed further.

The whole process went pretty smoothly and quick. 3 rounds of interviews with different levels of colleagues in that firm. Ask about previous experience and behavior questions. Interviewers are nice and respected my time

Met with the senior members of the deal and then junior members. Was really focused on getting to know each other and industry knowledge, relevant transaction experience and what I did on each transaction.

Easy technical interview in 1st round but did not get much feedback when rejected. Most likely better candidates. Asked for feedback but did not get any response in return. interviewer did not get into any details.
