      Candidature

Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez J.P. Morgan (Bengaluru) en juin 2011

      Entretien

The 1st round of interview was very simple. The questions asked were: - Tell about yourself - What's your current job profile and overall experience? - Why did you leave your last job? - Can you join immediately? The 2nd round was conducted by the Senior manager. His questions were challenging to answer. However, he took 2.5hrs just to interview me and I didn't even realize that it took so long. He remained very cheerful but probing throughout the conversation which made the interview really interesting. In fact, it seemed more of a deep conversation than an interview. he finally wrapped it off when he casually happened to glance at his watch and realized that it was already sun down and he had more than half a dozen candidates still waiting outside!

      Questions d'entretien [2]

      Question 1

What's the best part of your recent job? How do you deal wit issues like absenteeism, attrition, poor performance, etc? You come to work after a 10-day vacation and find yourself alone on the office production floor. You look around and find that no other team leader has checked-in yet. One of your team members is sitting at the reception with her clothes torn and is crying inconsolably but is refusing to talk to anyone. All other representatives who are supposed to login for the 1st shift are protesting in the cafeteria about the bad food served there despite several complaints/feedbacks from them. Your clients have been trying to get you on the phone to ask why customer inbound calls are getting abandoned. Some of your customers have mailed you about their escalations and you are already past the deadline without replying to them because your back-up colleague didn't attend to it in your absence. There is a business review meeting scheduled in the next 1 hour with your boss and you still need to prepare the dashboard. How will you prioritize these challenges?

      Question 2

What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? If your ex-boss had to comment on your positives or areas of improvement, what he have to say? What would your ex-team members say about you in 1 word? You are travelling by bike after 9pm to Ooty when your bike stops due to a technical snag. You are in the forest area with no vehicles passing-by and no inhabitants near by. The gates for oncoming traffic won't open until the following morning. What are the 3 most immediate things you will do after you get off your bike to spend the night there?
