      One of the HR at JP Morgan Chase reached me for scheduling the interview. It was a weekend Women Drive. I was also called by Morgan Stanley the same day. But I decided to go to JP Morgan Chase that day for the interview. The arrangement was very nice there with free refreshments and lunch coupons etc. But first technical round was taken by two people who were very rude. The kind of tone and rubbish attitude they were using for asking the questions was very bad. I was not even feeling like answering to them seeing their attitude and insulting behavior. I thought it is a women drive only, then how can such people talk to a candidate in such a manner. Then HR reached me to say their as usual dialogue "You can leave for the day". I told HR, I would like to share my feedback also. She told ya sure go ahead. Then I explained in detail the kind of behavior that two people showed in the interview. HR was so kind and generous that she understood my point. Told me that ya she also sensed this kind of attitude and she is definitely going to escalate the matter. She arranged another round of interview for me. This time a Delivery manager came and took the interview. He was so impressed by my technical knowledge and skills. He asked questions on Core Java, Thread Pool, Multi-threading, Web services, Hibernate, Spring MVC, IOC, performance tuning etc. Then explained in detail about the kind of projects they have and role which they are looking into. He felt sorry for the previous team members behavior. Then had another round of technical interview where they asked SOAP vs Restful web-services, Thread-local, Life cycle of a Thread, Life cycle of a bean. Types of Design patterns used, Types of IOC Containers, Performance tuning in Hibernate, Hibernate vs JPA, Types of EJBs etc. Then third round was a Video conferencing round on a weekday with a Product Head. He asked about my project, roles, reason for change. Work culture at JP Morgan etc. Then Coding round using Hirevue. There coding questions on sum of binary integers, Determine if two rectangles intersect given their x and y coordinates. Last HR round for discussing CTC, notice period etc.

      Interview Process was worst because of arrogant and shallow knowledgeable interviewer.This interviewer (Application Development Manager ) forgot the basic rule of interviewing 1) Be polite 2) Do not ask question which you can not answer 3) Ask question relevant to job He failed miserably in all 3 account.

      The interview process doesn't value the interviewee's time. Don't trust the recruiter if he/She says that it's a scheduled interview on weekend, trust me you will find hundreds of candidates with the same scheduled time. I was called on 11 am on Saturday , when I reached I saw that the bay was overcrowded with almost 60-70 people. Till 1 am I wasn't called for the interview, the area was looking like a Vegetable Market with candidates sitting here and there and the interviewers were calling their names from one place to another. This was totally unacceptable from a BIG company like JPMC. I was totally frustrated with this unorganized process and asked the person in charge to schedule my interview asap as I was already 2 hrs 30 mins behind schedule, he was kept on saying your's is the next but my name was never called. After 3 hrs of waiting I decided it was enough and went to the person and took my resume back and stormed out of the interview area. I could have created a scene there (I really wanted to scold the guy! ) but I decided against it as I didn't want to do something unprofessional unlike them. Highly unprofessional selection process by the leading investment bank ..

      Interview was conducted on weekends. Peeety much surprising that they were conducting walk ins.Scheduled Interview timing was 10.00 AM. Interview started at 11.30 AM. Total 4 rounds were conducted out of which 3 were technical rounds & last one was managerial round. Technical rounds were okayed. I think I've cleared 3 rounds that's the reason they have invited me for managerial round. In managerial round question were based on my project. They were more interested in my project & was not able to give answers of some of the questions. They directly told me that they will get back to me in next week. I understood that they had rejected me. It was surprising to me that based on managerial round they had rejected me..... Felt disgusting but later thought that it was not last interview of my life..
