J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Ipsos (Norwalk, CT) en avr. 2021

      Entretien

I interviewed for the GIADP program. The process was divided into 4 different sections (this was all done remotely and online due to COVID). First round consisted on a one sided interview where you recorded your responses. I recommend practicing interview questions so you can formulate an answer. You get thirty seconds to think of something if I remember correctly. Next round is a phone interviewer where you talk to a hiring recruiter. They ask questions on why you applied, your experiences, salary requirements, whether you have an rotation preferences (don’t worry if you do not know yet). This round was more easier as it just was a phone call, not meant to trick you or anything. Then the next round was a quantitative test. If I remember correctly it was 10 questions. Basically checking to see if you are able to spot errors, see if you can understand data (create a headline for a report). They do ask some math questions, but I’m not genius in math, so I just explained my thinking and my process and answered to the best of my ability. Take it seriously but don’t try to stress yourself out over one question. A lot of it was pretty intuitive especially for a math illiterate person such as myself (FYI the job doesn’t consist much math so I don’t believe it would be much of an issue if you miss a math question but don’t quote me on that). Last round, you basically speak to three people from different rotations. They ask you a bunch of questions that are situational such as “if you need to get a report in by a certain date but the data is not ready, what do you do? “. Very situational. One question that I remember was them asking me about a research study I conducted and the process of it all. If you haven’t done a research study, try to think of a project you conducted , etc.

Pretty simple interview process. 1 with HR, another with a member of the hiring team, case study + interview. Overall pretty straight forward and communicative, it wasn’t drawn out or anything.

Overall, the interview process was a great experience and very responsive. Communication was clear and timely at every stage. I was given a case study and asked to present my analysis, which allowed me to demonstrate both technical and presentation skills. The team was professional, supportive, and asked thoughtful questions, making the entire process engaging and insightful.
