It was a Skype interview. My recruiter gave me all the information I needed ahead of time, so I had time to review everything I would be asked about, which was a big help. After that we had a debrief session where I relayed to my recruiter how the interview went

I had an interview with the recruiter via phone, talking about my previous experience, salary expectation, and some limitations like H1B sponsorship. After that, we finished some simple knowledge checks and went through the first step of the interview.
