Ikea had one of the more difficult interview processes I have been through for a customer service type position. (I had a couple years of experience with customer service and different positions too)
It took about a month to receive a call about a position and then there was a 2 week long process of a background check (which is pretty long, but they are very thorough!) After that, I was given an on site interview. Two people had interviewed me and they were both very nice people that have been with the company for a long time. They asked general questions about my past work experiences and then asked specific questions that would deal with the position.
Generally, the questions were not very difficult and the interview was straight forward and friendly. I think it helped that I mentioned someone I knew that worked at Ikea because they emphasized the co-worker community.
