A fun experience, well at least to start with.
A group exercise where eight of us were given a role to play in a group exercise where we were assessed this part was fun and engaging.
Following this we were taken off for a one to one interview and asked competency based questions. I was then told this role was probably to junior for me, that I'd be bored and probably leave in three months so the role wasn't offered to me.
I found this extremely frustrating. How would they know if I'd stay or not? Who are they to decide what role or what level I choose to pursue my next career move?
IKEA retention is horrendous, they are constantly recruiting, I wonder why?

Question 1
How would you deal with a difficult customer on the phone?
Great interview with good mix of questions. And promotes you asking them on the work culture n environment. You should have been able and willing not be in a situation like the other one and have your best

Very positive call with members of the management team. Felt they were very fair and friendly on the call. My availability/plans didn’t work out with the role but I enjoyed the conversation.
