J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez IKEA (Reading, Angleterre) en avr. 2016

      Entretien

Applied Directoy Online through their Website Link. Next Day received a Email Confirming a Open Door Screening Interview was Scheduled 3 Days later. Between am - pm Over 500 people / prospective candidates filled the Hotel Loby - awaiting their turn for a 1:1. This same Saturday process continued for many weeks; as they were searching for many suitable CUstimer Service Assocuates to fill their needs within their Reading Store - Opening 3 months later on July 14th. This was clearly a "CATTLE CALL" process of 500 plus candidates attending this weekly process in search of Staff for their New Reading, Berkshire, Store opening in July!

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

After waiting my turn to be interviewed; got there at the start and only waited 45 minutes. I was invited into a lge function room filled with pairs of chairs scattered throughout this room next to Hotel Lobby for 1 on 1 interviews by many Supervisors The Interviewers all had a Note Board with a Set List of many Questions to which they wrote your answers. At no time were they interested in learning what my past experiences related to what I'd done to benefit this Role. In My Opinion this was a Inferior Interview process and a Total Waste of my Time and Energy as I had with me a Folder containing CV with my past work experiences plus 73 Satisfied Personal Customer Review Letters for past Outstanding Customer Services provided to each of these customers - commenting on my customer service; where I'd gone Above and Beyond my job yet that they never wanted to see this to learn what I'd bring to the Table at Ikea should I get hired. I was way Qualified for this Role and would have been accepting a lot Less of a hourly rate for my skills. Yet at end of my 1/2 hour interview I wasn't invited back in for their Round 2 in their Interviewing process! It was their Loss; and a Big Loss it was too! As if they'd taken the time to open my CV Folder; I had many years of Experiences and Skills to offer them and I would have been a huge asset to their many valued Customers.

You sit with a manager and they ask you questions about your past job experiences and other questions and then ask you take drug test if you pass. There is also a phone interview before the interview to determine if you go in for the job interview.

Informal relaxed chat, they ask questions based on their values so make sure you talk about them in your answers, I had a video based interview before a face to face interview with one of the team leaders

Apply online, go in for an interview, and take a drug test if the job is offered. You must pass with no flags on drug tests to accept the job.
