I was contacted by a recruiter and there was an informal phone chat. A few days later, there was a more formal interview with an HR rep asking about my qualifications. The next week there was a phone interview with 3-4 people from the department. Mainly just asking about my work and educational background. 1 week later there was an in-person interview at the department. Just 1 one person again going or my work history and education. A couple of detailed questions regarding the "science" behind my field.
