    Incredibly unprofessional. Recruiter reached out to me via email. I replied with times that I was available for a screening and never heard from that recruiter again. Why reach out if your intention is to ignore the candidate? If the job was filled before you could perform the screening, email the candidate and let them know rather than wasting everyone's time.

    It took about a month to receive a call after applying. First you will have a phone interview lasting about 15 minutes to see if you may be qualified , then you will schedule a face to face interview which last about an hour

    I had to prepare a slide deck of "Why ICON?" I was recruited by someone in India from ICON.. The HR people were very unprofessional, didn't disclose the pay to me and would not consider pay over 120K. This role was too junior for me. Very little benefits with only 10% yearly bonus.

    The initial screening process was quite strange. You do an online question and answer video process for the screening. The interview itself was easy. Normal questions you would expect. I was told I would get a response within 2 weeks, and that was almost 2 months ago. I have heard nothing. It's very insulting to drive in so far, do a great interview and to never hear back at all.

    Contacted by HR via email to set up an initial phone interview scheduled via webex (no video, just audio). On the day/time of interview he never joined the meeting or sent an email about what happened, etc, but after my second time of following up he apologized and rescheduled. Phone interview lasted about 15 min and just basic HR-level questions about my background and interest in the position. I was originally interviewing for a Site Activation Lead but after seeing my experience with consent reviews, I was kind of transferred over to the Study Start Up Associate (SSUA) - informed consent forms role. They sent me an assessment via email to complete (reviewing practice consent form and writing portions of another practice consent form) which took me several hours to complete. After returning the assessment I didn't hear anything back for a week so I followed up and he said the team was impressed with assessment and wanted to schedule an official web ex interview which was scheduled about a month later. It was a video interview (they could see me, I couldn't see them) with manager and director and lasted about 1.5 hours. Both of them were very nice and started out asking about my background and experience reviewing consent forms, negotiating language, working across study teams, etc. Asked how I prioritize and manage deadlines and what I would tell someone who needed something done late on a Friday and I had other deadlines to complete first. The language barrier was not as challenging as I thought and they were very understanding and casual, not trying to catch you off guard or anything. They did go over my assessment results which I was not expecting, but was nice to see what I got wrong/right. I sent a f/u email to HR the next day saying thank you, etc, and didn't hear anything back for about 1.5 weeks, didn't get final offer for 2 weeks. Process took 3 months total, if you don't hear anything follow up with them!

    Arranged thru external recruiter: 2 managers in Skype; For a Senior position, this interview took 1 1/2 hrs!!! They tell you all about what they can offer then one manager starts asking about co-monitoring experiences. That was ridiculous considering a Sr. CRA has been managing sites with and w/o co-monitors! This CRA could not appreciate WHY my co-monitor experiences back when I started were of ANY relevance to a SENIOR role! The questions continued around a very elementary tone as if hiring a CRA 1. Very surprising and wasteful of our very limited time. The other manager chimes in occasionally but one led the barrage of questions. Assumptions made based upon answers comparing current SOP’s to theirs. Assumptions are never credible. SMH.

    1.5 hr interview process with multiple Directors. For the first ten minutes, I was responsible for delivering a PowerPoint presentation to indicate how I would handle one of three scenarios as a Project Manager (topics given in advance). Great topics to choose from. The interviewers then engaged me in discussion about the presentation and any further questions they had.

    Remaining time was spent on behavioral questions and general role related questions. Time was allowed for me to ask questions of the Directors as well. The interviewing team was very engaging. Their enthusiasm and feedback was much appreciated!
