      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Humana en mars 2012

      Entretien

I applied for the position via Humana's website. The process was straightforward. Nearly 5 weeks later I received a call from a recruiter who asked if I was available at that time to do a phone interview. This was not normal, I was not prepared but I really wanted this position so I agreed. The phone interview was scattered but the recruiter was friendly enough and ended the conversation by saying that she really liked me and was going to recommend me for an in-person interview. Then she stated that they would like me to do a writing sample to be turned in via email. It was a typical analysis of a piece of legislation with talking points. She did also tell me that 97 people had applied for the position and 7 received phone interviews. 2 weeks later I received a call to schedule an in-person interview with the hiring manager. I was informed that there were 4 candidates total interviewing. A week later they scheduled me for a 3rd interview in the corporate tower with the Director of the department, the hiring manager, and another lobbyist that would work closely with this position. When I arrived at the interview I also learned I would be interviewing with the administrative assistants. They were the toughest of all, but I was very impressed by a corporate culture that valued their input. It showed me that they really do value each employee in the department
