The interview felt uncomfortable from the start. The interviewer seemed completely disengaged, barely making eye contact and offering little to no warmth throughout the conversation. Their tone was flat, and their responses were short, making it difficult to build any natural flow or connection. When I answered questions, they appeared distracted—occasionally checking their watch, typing on their computer, or staring off as if their mind was elsewhere.
There was no effort to make the conversation welcoming or collaborative. Instead, the atmosphere felt cold and rushed, as though they were simply going through the motions. They didn’t ask any follow-up questions, didn’t smile, and didn’t show interest in my experience or skills. By the end, it was clear they were not invested in the process, which made the entire interview feel unprofessional and discouraging.
