J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Hilton (McLean, VA) en mai 2017
Entretien
Started off with a recorded virtual interview, which was new to me. It was slightly nerve-wracking at first, but became more comfortable as the questions progressed. There was a long period between my virtual interview and a call from a recruiter to actually conduct a phone screen--not sure if they were busy hiring other positions, there was a delay on this position, or what, but it was in the neighborhood of 6 weeks from the virtual to the phone screen. After that, things moved VERY quickly. I did a phone interview with the hiring manager, then my direct manager, and was provided a case study to prepare and present a week later. The case study is no joke, so leave yourself plenty of time to dig in and thoroughly prepare. I presented the case study on a Friday morning and received an offer on Monday afternoon.

Very strenuous, lots of “testing”. They gave a lot of data that was hard to understand and base their questions off your presentation. There are several interviews before free getting to that stage. There will be about 3-5 people in the review panel.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Hilton (Austin, TX)
Entretien
I’m a previous employee who was laid off due to Covid (along with 25% of the corporate workforce). I applied for a new role (very similar to my old) in January 2021. I went through 4 rounds of interviews both virtual and in-person. I feel like I bent over backwards to make the time and reschedule interviews to meet everyone’s schedules. I received positive feedback along the entire process. I was ghosted after my 4th interview - no response whatsoever from the recruiter who had been previously very communicative. I can handle the rejection, I just wish they’d have the decency to tell me rather than leave me in limbo.
