Just a terrible experience. The recruiter was so cold and unfriendly. It was obvious he had not read through my resume or my portfolio, which is fine but the first question he asked was if I knew where the job was located since my phone number's area code was in another state...awkward intro. Based on his questions about my resume, I don't think he knew that career changers exist. He also asked why I would want to apply for a company that isn't "sexy" and was confused about why I am working 2 unpaid positions. I got a rejection email less than 2 hours later. I'm confused on your background, what do you want to do in your next role?
Applied back in January on workday, got interview back in mid Feb. It took about 4 weeks for the interview (4 rounds including HR) but almost another 4 weeks for waiting the final decision. I just wish i wasn't given the expectation to hear back within a week, I thought I was ghosted.
