J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez H&M (Brighton, Angleterre) en mai 2017

I applied online and just over 2 weeks later (on a tuesday) I received a call from the store manager asking if I could do a 10 minute interview. As I was in a lesson at college we arranged to do it a couple hours later and he rang me back when we had arranged.
The phone interview was really relaxed and we just had a chat and I answered some questions about my availability, why I wanted to work at h&m and how I define (good) customer service. At the end of this I was invited to an interview, two days later, in store and again the store manager was super helpful and organised a time when I wasn't at college.
At the in store interview (on the thursday) I came in, all the staff on the shop floor were super friendly and took me into the back where my interview was. I was the only one being interviewed and was interviewed by two managers, one of them was the man who'd done my phone interview. They were so friendly and it was so relaxed which was really nice because I was a bit nervous. Answered some different questions: a couple scenario based questions, skills questions etc, asked me about h&ms Instagram which fortunately I follow. Made sure I mentioned some of their campaigns I knew about, developed on points they made when I could and spoke about some positive experiences Id had at h&m. There was one question I was struggling to answer so they changed it slightly which made it easier to answer- this was really nice as it shows they're not trying to catch you out or trip you up, they want to hear what you have to say and want you to do well.
At the end they asked if I had any more questions- id asked loads throughout so I only asked a few. Then they invited me to a kind of trial shift two days later and we'd have a chat after to see if I was successful (they kind of hinted that i was already). Shook hands again, thanked them for their time and left.
I came in on a saturday I came in for my trial shift. Met a few more team members who were all super friendly too. Had a quick chat with the store manager and the department manager before being taken around the shop and had a few things explained to me and a chat by a sales advisor before another sales advisor took over and finished showing me around and how they do things before setting me up with a a couple tasks. In the middle of this the store manager came and basically offered me the job which was super excited. They went to set up all the paper work while I did a bit more tidying. I was a bit embarrassed because I was sorting a rail of trousers and it fell off and made a big bang. Fortunately there were 2 sales advisors near by and they helped me put it back up and were so friendly.
After this I went into the back and filled out some paper work, the department manager explained my pay and everything to me.
Overall it was really relaxed because everyone was so kind and friendly and didn't make it seem scary or intimidating and I'm so happy and grateful I got offered the job and very excited to start working with the team!

It was a group interview. They asked us about fashion and what we know about H&M and it’s background. We also had a task in groups to come up with good answers to the questions given, we also had to present.
It was a group interview, we did group tasks like styling people for different occasions and answering . It was pretty focused on the company values and if you have a love for fashion.
