The interview itself was one of the most enjoyable interviews that I've had. It was an hour and a half in total, and involved introducing ourselves to the other candidates, going through some scenarios about what to do in certain situations (if a customer asks for a size you don't have for example), and then some floor-based activities like making up an outfit for your fashion idol, finding similar items and then doing half an hour's work on the floor itself.
group interview, people were friendly and they asked a lot of general questions. then we all went to the shop floor, got assigned a certain outfit to make for a hypothetical customer and explained in front of the group why we chose it

I applied online, interview at the store. Casual talk with the store manager about the experiences and how the store works. It was pretty straight forward even without any experiences.
Group interview. 10 candidates in a small dingy room. Poorly organised and interviewers showed very little interest or skill in conducting an effective interview. Were in pairs for the whole thing, no way to stand out and other people taking credit for your ideas. No observation of how you handled planning and answering the tasks in your pairs, interviewers just sat there having a chat.
