      Entretien

      After the initial screening there was some tests that you had to do; deductive, inductive, English and some kind of stress test/priority test. The tests were pretty standard and some of the easier, compared to similar tests in other recruitment processes. After the test they have an assessment day which starts with a presentation of the trainee program and H&M as a whole. Then all applicants are divided into groups which you follow throughout the day. You are tested both individual and in a small group. One "station" is a written individual case, which you do together in a room full with other applicants. There are two cases which are very basic and you can just wing it. No need to practice, just common sense will get you through them. Another station is individual interview for about 20 minutes. Regular recruitment questions; positive/negative qualities, what role do you take in a group situation, mention a time when were in a conflict with someone, etc. Another station is group case and group discussion/interview. You will be in a room together with 2 H&M employees and 2 other applicants and you get questions that you need to discuss between yourselves, you also get the same question but that you need to answer one at a time towards the interviewer. Lastly you get a case which you need to solve together during a certain period of time, say 7 minutes. Then you need to present in 5 minutes. Then the case get an unexpected event, and you need to deal with it. Discuss for like 5 minutes and then present again for like 4 minutes or so. Then you are done on can go home. The next step after the assessment day, you do a personality test/evaluation and also get invited to another personal interview, which is actually two interviews, one with HR and one with the manager of the trainee program. You'll be in interview for one hour with each and they have usually another person with them who works at different IT divisions.
