Call with HR and call with hiring manager and someone from the team. The invitation for the interview was sent in a docx, not as a calendar invite which caused some issues. The instructions weren't clear so I waited on a call instead of calling into a conference room. So it was delayed a week. There wasn't a real structure to the interview. Very loose and ad hoc, which was quite off-putting and unexpected coming from a data department. Made it somewhat awkward. Seemed like the interviewers just wanted to get it done instead of really learning about the candidate.

Onsite, 1 morning, 3 interviews in a row. 1st interview with the tech team who I was supposed to work with, 2nd with the director of the area, 3rd with HR

The whole process lasted (unnecessary) 4 months. Passing through 6-7 interviews (with recruiter, HR, Manager, peers, Management). Only 1 technical interview that was relatively easy. The initial interview process was amazing with the outcome that I am going to join an ambitious position in a team with growth potential where the company is investing a lot. I received the offer (very poor offer compared to the market) after 3 months of interviews but unfortunately there was no room for negotiation. The result was that there was no feedback (to emails, messages and phone calls) for the rest 1 month, where eventually i found out through their job portal that i was silently rejected. In overall very unprofessional approach on skilled candidates that was excited and enthusiast on the position.

Over the many interviews a lot of behavioral questions was very similar. Technical questions around feature selection, classification/regression algorithm selection criteria, statistics questions, etc
