Completely unprofessional. Every single part of their 3-stage interview process is unprofessional.
1. Phone screen with their recruiter: The recruiter was just going through a list of qualifications to ask. There was no room to ask questions about the role. It did not feel like an interview, It felt more of an interrogation where you can't ask anything back to learn if you're a good fit. Moreover, the questions asked are just a repeat of what were asked when you initially fill out the application form AND could have been answered if the recruiter bothered to read the resume.
2. "Prep Call": This one is actually good in practice since it's designed to prepare you for your client interview. But deep down it's only to save themselves some face to their clients. This is also the first time I've heard about the potential client throughout the interview process. Did it do its job of preparing me for the client interview? Kinda. So I'd give them points for that.
3. Client Interview: Since this part is external to GenPact, I won't include details about it. But I had a pleasant conversation with their client.
Before my client interview ended, I made sure to ask the clients how long do I have to wait for their feedback. They explicitly told me they'd give feedback to GenPact no more than 48 hours. So naturally, I followed up with GenPact after that. What did I get? Radio silence. I asked again after a week. Nothing. And another week after that. Absolutely nothing.
To future applicants, heed the reviews carefully. They aren't lying that this place is unprofessional.

Question 1
Recruiter asked the standard "Do you have x years of experience in y?" questions.
The technical questions will differ depending on the client and are not conducted by GenPact themselves. Thus, that information is not relevant towards this review for GenPact.
My interview experience with Genpact was very disappointing and felt like a complete waste of time. I successfully cleared both the internal and client interview rounds, submitted all required documents for offer processing, and even had a salary discussion where both parties aligned (my expectations were also clearly communicated prior to the process).
Despite my regular follow-ups, the only response I kept receiving was that the offer was “in progress.” After a week of waiting, I was suddenly informed that there was no budget for the role. This last-minute response was extremely unprofessional and frustrating, especially since I had declined another offer while waiting for Genpact’s.
Overall, the entire process lacked transparency and wasted valuable time.

Genpact has a long interview process in which 2 technical rounds are there, then techno managerial round. Post that is the HR round. Even after all these rounds they kept me waiting for my offer letter for more than a month saying it will come anytime now. On my last working day at current office, they informed that they will not be able to release offer as the management is not approving. Kindly don't appear for this organization as the process here is completely f*€ked up and the HRs are absolute liar. They will show you big dreams before taking the interview and then at the end, wont give you any offer and then blame the management so that you are left in a helpless and hopeless situation.
