Here is the job I interviewed for: Thank you for applying to the 190000RL - Sr. Manager, Business Transformation position at Genesys. Contacted by a recruiter who was pleasant. I had a phone interview with the VP who was very experienced. There was another phone interview with a Sr. Director who really appeared to be an amatuer out of MBA school. He started the meeting talking about himself and then quickly shifted to firing off questions without any commentary in between and he appeared shifty not paying attention because & there was extreme silence. I had to raise my voice to get him to pay attention, like I am done. He then fired off another question - extreme silence again from him. I asked if it was clear. He said YES. Then he fired off the same question. To me, this jerk was at home doing something else and was completely disengaged from the interview and putting me on mute - off and on. He was very unfriendly and combative. He also used ebonics.

After a couple of phone interviews, I flew to Daly City and interviews with my director, the VP, and several peers. I didn't hear back for several weeks afterward, and assumed another candidate had been selected for the role.
