Was contacted by an HR representative you had received my resume via an associate. She scheduled a phone screen interview for the two of us a few days out. During the phone interview, the questioning was very general (i.e. describe yourself, why do you think you'd be a good candidate? what were the highlights and lowlights of your last job, etc.). She recommended me to advance to the next phase and I was then scheduled to talk to the hiring manager. My interview with the hiring manager was an utter disaster. She appeared dispassionate, disinterested and only half-engaged. Further, she only asked me questions pertinent to my LAST position (2 years) despite the fact that I have over 20 years experience. BOTTOM LINE: Philosophy between me and the hiring manager was very different as to what constitutes RELATIVE EXPERIENCE.
