One of the most bizzare experiences i have ever had.
After applying online i was contacted by what seems to be a contractor recruiter for a prescreen interview.
After a short conversation he said that it sounds like a good match and he will connect me with the hiring manager very soon.
Called me 2 days later in attempt to conduct a prescreen interview again. When i said we already had it he rpomised to connect me with the hiring manager by the end of the week ... and vanished.
When tried to followup i was getting answers that he will have an update soon, next week , by the end of the week etc. , but eventually just stopped responding to my messages.
I gave up and moved.on after few weeks of trying to get an update.

There were two interviews. The first interview was with the hiring manager, and we mainly discussed my previous work experience, products I had handled, customer-facing activities, and my approach as a Sales Engineer. The second interview was with the head of the SE team in Japan. We discussed my understanding of the role, team collaboration, and expected responsibilities after joining. Overall, the interview atmosphere was calm and professional, and the questions focused mainly on my experience and way of thinking.

The interview process included an initial recruiter screen, a culture and presales discussion with the hiring manager, and a deep technical and scenario‑based panel where we covered networking fundamentals, Fortinet solutions, and customer‑facing sales situations.

Entretien
Slow process with poor communication from the human resources staff that sets up interviews. Technical staff were prompt, intelligent and friendly. The sales staff was not impressive in experience, personality, or technical knowledge.
