I showed up, had an interviewed with the DM and visual merchandiser. The DM was the one asking questions and pretty much catered the questions to my resume and experience. She asked questions like "where I get my ideas for merchandising from" and "what trends do I think will be big for summer". After the interview I was told to pick out three outfits in 20 min. Each outfit was of a different trend. This included clothes, accessories, shoes, handbags, everything. After the 20 min. I met up with her in the back and talked to her about why I chose the items I did and explain the outfits. I had an interview with a diff. visual merchandiser in a diff. mall that same day and the interview process was kinda the same but 10 times easier. Just had to pick one outfit and that was it. I got that one, but it was too far away from where I lived so decided to turn it down. The pay isn't that good either... It was around $12-13/hr.
