Nothing. They called me in the phone and asked me if I could drive. And if I had any negative things in my background. That’s about it. Then they did a background check and I went in for a DOT physical

I entered this interview to review there method of hiring, and not so much for the actual job and was very sadden by how they handled themselves. The actual route owner didn't seem that friendly, and the waiting process was very long just to be turned away when this could have been better handled on the phone. To give the owner credit at least he was there on site to attempt to handle things even though it really was very unprofessional w/ how he handled things. Route is owned by AIR LOGISTICS, INC. (not FedEx), and the owner name is Ahmad Idrees Rahmani. (FedEx Location: 2702 Neville Road, PA) The position mentioned online states you can make minimum pay of $650 per week up to 800, but leaves the part you are not working for FedEx but instead a 3rd party company since they are the ones who own the routes which have been bought. So in some ways you have little to no benefits that can be offered, and have a 3rd party company to deal w/ vs FedEx. With there employee turn over rate you would assume that this 3rd party company would have more open terms for hiring new employees who don't meet the delivery experience. Instead the should have a learn as you go system in place so training can be enforced on the go for easier employment, but what you see is what you get at this 3rd part company which works for FedEx. (An owner only hurts there business more by not expanding on what they are lacking) During the interview process you meet up w/ a women by the name of Margret, and she works in what would be considered HR. During the initial interview you will need your social security card, drivers license, and to fill out two forms of paper. The DOT if you have it on you is a plus, but if not you will have to supply the main office w/ one. (8am-3pm are interview hours) AIR LOGISTICS, INC. has an ad online that you need to pay attention to or else the job interview will be pointless. (Must have at least 1 year in the last three years, or five years in the last 10 years of driving experience with a company. ) - Again please read that carefully because if you do not have a min of 1 year of driving that is w/ a valid company then you have shown up at this interview for no reason and will be turned away on the spot. It will not matter how good your driving record is if you do not have any delivery driving experience that adds up to a min of 1 full year of concurrent employment. That also means the post office, pizza delivery, and certain door to door sales jobs can qualify as experience in that area, but they will call ahead to verify so please be honest. When you show up at the security terminal remember the name of the 3rd party company which owns the route which you will be driving for since they are not FedEx. When you get inside make sure you tell them your there for the driver and or route driver position and not package handler since they have two different offices.
