Token Ring algorithm: Its a leader election algorithm. I explained what is leader election algorithm, how the algorithm works, and advantages and disadvantages. 3- Phase commit: This is a Consistency algorithm. I explained what is consistency, how the 2phase commit algorithm works and then the 3 phase commit. Then I explained why we need 3 Phase commit over the 2 phase commit.
