J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Exelon (Chicago, IL) en août 2019
Entretien
Met with 3 people on team that were doing the hiring. They asked behavioral questions on my experiences in certain situations and how I acted to handle them. Topics were about being inclusive, handling time, etc.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had too many things to do at once and how you handled the situation.
I had one interview as part of the process. The format was primarily focused on statistics and fundamental data science concepts. The interviewer asked conceptual questions such as explaining the meaning of a p-value, how hypothesis testing works, and how to interpret statistical significance in a business context. The discussion was more theory-oriented rather than hands-on coding.
Overall, the interview felt academically focused, with emphasis on understanding core statistical principles rather than applied project experience. It was a straightforward single-round interview, and the expectations were clearly centered on foundational knowledge in statistics and analytical reasoning.
The interviewer used the STAR method at career fair. Mostly behavioral questions as I am only a sophomore in college. Situational questions as well. It was a very on the spot interview but questions were generally fair

Question 1
They asked me to describe a time when I had to work on a team with many member of different backgrounds.
It was at the Black Engineer of the Year conference. I gave the recruiter my resume and introduced myself to them. After that, the recruiter told me what Exelon was about and then told me that they will be contacting me soon. 2 weeks later, got my offer.
