The interview process was extremely slow. I started with the recruiter then didn't hear back about next steps for about a month. I then was suggested a different position to apply for, which was great. I had a follow up call with HR again (very much could have been an email). Finally got the interview scheduled with the hiring manager (keep in mind about 6 weeks have gone by at this point.) Interview went well and was verbally told I would be moving on to the next interview with one of the other team members. A week goes by and didn't hear anything from the recruiter. Finally reached out and was told the position was offered to someone else. I understand if things changed, but keeping candidates waiting around is unprofessional.
