J'ai passé un entretien chez Edelman (Montréal, QC)
Entretien
The interview was straight forward, went through my work history asked for my opinion and comfort level on working with certain sectors. Followed by an assignment on oil & gas sector, entire process for two weeks.
Lack of transparency throughout entire interview process. Several additional rounds of interviews added. Also, irrelevant questions asked that had nothing to do with the job. It seemed like they did not know what they wanted in a candidate.

Entretien
At first everything felt like it was going very well. I received plenty of positive feedback all the way through the final round, felt my interviews were conversational and smooth, definitely saw how easily I could fit into the team, but my application was passed over for unknown reasons. Everything lined up well and I was expecting an offer, but was ghosted instead. Something about this gives me a feeling that the internal culture at Edelman is typical for a company so big. In retrospect, I think I might've dodged a bullet. Company culture that allows this kind of behavior often means it's passive-aggressive and toxic, which sounds on par for a large company.
