I got approached by one in the recruiting staff, he was fantastic and gave me a lot of information on the introductory email. He really sold the place and knew his stuff. I was knew to the ESL scene and he told me the things that should be expected of a ESL teacher, and what to expect from your employer.
This followed with a Skype interview which lasted around an hour. It was insanely helpful.
Kudos to James Wills as he makes you feel at ease with his personal experiences.
The normal questions apply:- why ESL, why China, what are you expecting, etc.

Question 1
History of English First was one of the first questions they asked:- what do you know about EF, and why EF?
The interview was okay, The lady was really nice. But unfortunately I did not get an offer. The interview took about 20 minutes. She wanted to know about my experience and teaching philosophy.

Question 1
What are the challenges you faced when teaching young students
The ESL interview typically is Online with Academic Director. Easy straightforward questions. No teaching demo. Situational questions to assess classroom management skills, adaptability, and cultural awareness. Even if you don't have teaching experience, there is a high chance to land ESL job there.

Easiest interview I've had, they talked more as if I already had the job. Asking questions like where in china did I want to be. Don't stress, just be relaxed and talk about why you want to teach and why you want to live in china.
