First is call with a recruiter. Their recruiters are really wonderful and friendly. Then they will schedule the technical interview. It was 45 minutes and the interviewer did not even introduce themself or tell me how long they were at the company. It is very impersonal. If they are going to do this, the technical might as well be a test assignment that has a maximum time. The interviewer was very cold and not fun to work with. They are looking for a VERY specific answer. It was very awkward, to the point where the interviewer could have been a robot. I would not want to work here based on this interview, it does not seem like a collaborative environment. Also, the person interviewing you could be levels below you, which I have never encountered interviewing at a company. The interview question itself is the discounts/customers question. The recruiter said it was going to be more design and whiteboarding but there was NONE of that. I think if there was, the interview would have gone a lot better. I would suggest trying to do that before just jumping into the code as I did so you can ensure you are solving the problem the exact way the interviewer wants it. I suspect this is a good company to work at, just not the tech organization.
