I applied to the job online, and received a follow-up e-mail asking for additional information. I then received a phone screen, which was followed by an invitation to interview in person. I am relocating, so I drove in hours away for the interview. They were running late, and two of my interviewers were out, so there was a lot of scrambling.
Two of the interviewers seemed nice enough, but the last guy was pretty rude, and it was clear that he was not happy with anything I had to say. He asked me the same question about the role several times, sneered at me, and the whole interview with him made me uncomfortable. I then received a rejection less than an hour later while I was still on the way back to my room. I thought that part was a huge slap in the face.
Besides that, the interview was very general, pre-selected questions, so I assume they are looking for nicely rehearsed stock answers from robots.
