Initial screening was done by a Digital Ocean recruiter, follow-on interviews were done via Google Hangouts, and the final interviews were done on-site in New York City.
The coordination and logistics for Google Hangout interviews as well as in-person interviews were top notch. Lindsey made sure the day I arrived for on-site interviews I knew where I needed to be, and I was well taken care of.
The interview questions were centered around my job role as well as communication, leadership, problem solving, and teaming.
Digital Ocean was clear and transparent throughout the process, and feedback/next-steps were properly communicated to me.
Now that I am on-board at Digital Ocean they have an excellent on-boarding process as well.

The interview process was relaxed, and everyone was very professional, honest, and friendly. I wish there was more context about the particular teams I would be managing, and how many teams.

Entretien
Overall it went well, it was fast, and the recruiter, answered all of my questions almost immediately which is always a good thing for a recruiter. On the other hand, the documents to sign are not really clear, and I had to sign some documents twice because they had wrong information, so at some point this can discourage the people since you cannot rely in the given information in the first place, besides that all of it was really good!

Entretien
After applying I was contacted by a technical recruiter, they clearly set expectations for the process of interviewing and hiring, gathered my information and desires and did an initial screening fit for the role.
From there I interviewed with the hiring manager, did a take home assessment, met with team members, people operations, a peer and executives for additional culture and skills interviews. Each had their own area of focus and was able to give me deeper insights into the role and environment.
After interviews i met with the recruiter and aligned expectations about an offer and its contents. They hit the numbers i wanted and terms to join so i accepted.
