      The process was wonderful. While all of the interviews were over Google chat, I felt very connected to the team. My recruiter Griffin followed up with me after every person I met with and you I felt very informed throughout the process.

      Entretien

      The first step was a phone and video screen with a recruiter (via Google Hangouts), and the second step was a phone and video screen with the role's hiring manager (via Google Hangouts). The screenings were about 30 minutes each and focused on my professional background and career goals. More important, though, were the discussions I had with each person regarding the company's culture and values, and this is what solidified my interest in joining the company and progressing its ideals. Following the screenings, I was invited to the company's NY HQ location to meet with 5 people from the team, including the recruiter and the hiring manager. Each interview was between 30 and 55 minutes, and the questions were mostly behavioral (and the tone of each interview was conversational), but I was also asked questions that expressed a genuine interest in me as a person, which went hand in hand with the company's belief in going to work and bringing your full self to work. The day was broken up with a tour of the office and a catered lunch (a perk that the employees enjoy on a day-to-day basis). I was there for several hours, but it went by very quickly, and the whole process reiterated the company's interest and investment in my candidacy. I felt accepted, accommodated, and welcomed from the very beginning of my interview experience, and as an LGBTQ person of color, I had never experienced that before. Following my on-site interviews, the recruiter proactively kept in contact with me via email and diligently kept me informed about next steps in the process. He called me about 2 weeks later and offered me the role; I accepted immediately.
