No salary range had been discussed during the process, and no alternative proposal or opportunity for negotiation was provided. Overall, the experience felt confusing from a candidate perspective. Being congratulated on completing the interviews and being asked for documents created the clear expectation that an offer would follow. The final decision not to proceed with an offer after a two-month process and such signals was disappointing and lacked transparency.
