J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Designity (Quito) en févr. 2026
Entretien
It was a highly professional and very in-depth process, first get in touch with a recruiter after applying on the website for a first interview. I was asked very professional questions regarding my previous work experiences, and background, and my abilities and skills as a designer. They told me about Designity, how it works and how is like working on Designity. Later they contacted me again for a skill and design test, and for later interviews. It wasn't a rushed process, it was long and detailed. That for me was a good sign, I knew that they were searching for the best people to work on the company and to fill the role.

Question 1
About my background, skills, design process, experiences.

The interview process was long and included several stages, so that is something candidates should be aware of. However, I felt that the steps were relevant and helped the company build a more complete, 360-degree view of each candidate.
The process started with recorded answers to a few initial questions, so the first interaction was asynchronous. After that, it included a practical challenge, interviews with the internal team, an interview with the CEO, and a reference stage with professional recommendations.
Although it was not an easy process, I found it to be fair and very transparent. The company provided updates and feedback quickly, which made it easier to understand where I stood throughout the process. Overall, I saw it as a respectful approach to candidates, even though it does require time and commitment.

I was asked to present a few selected projects from my portfolio and explain my process, including how I approached the work and the reasoning behind my design decisions.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 8 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Designity (New York, NY) en juill. 2024

8 WEEKS LONG. You first get a meet and greet with all other applicants to ask questions, then you take a test, then if they like what you produce, you get an interview with ONE person who apparently gets to decide your fate after 30 minutes. All emails say if you have questions to reach out but no one ever answered them. Very cold. Very drawn out and a waste of applicants time. Only benefit was $50 for doing the creative project. Other than that, I was deflated after getting to the last round and being denied an offer because I have years of experience.
