J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) en févr. 2016
Entretien
The in person interview is as described throughout this site. However, having been in management for over 30 years and interviewed for multiple jobs throughout the years as well as conducted employment interviews, I was very unimpressed with their process. It is very strange and impersonal. There is no way that they can truly choose employees that will stay with their company and have the work ethic needed to stick with being a flight attendant. Additionally, they will not come right out and tell you if you are too short to be hired. There is a reach test that you must pass which consists of being able to reach the top of the overhead luggage compartment of their largest plane which I believe is a 767. There were so many great candidates that were not hired on the day that I interviewed -- because they were unable to pass the reach test. Of course, DA wouldn't tell you that but it was quite evident in the end why these young, talented, personable women were not hired. I felt so sorry for the young people that were not hired. I think it is a horrible process and demoralizing for those being "interviewed" in this manner. It is similar to going through sorority rush or being on a contest like the Bachelor. Delta needs to come right out and have a height requirement rather than having interviewees pay their expenses to interview, take off from work to be interviewed, and go through this bizarre process.

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
