      1: application/assessment 2: video interview 3: phone screening 4: face to face interview It was hard to plan ahead being out of state because they sent my f2f info so late, and although they give you suggestions on where to stay in Atlanta, they don't cover the cost of accommodations or cabs etc. Honestly, regarding the face to face, everything you read on the blogs is pretty much accurate information even though they tell you at the interview to "stay off the blogs." I recommend reading all the blogs. The second you walk into the building, be prepared to be ON. Start talking to the other candidates there and start introducing yourself. Also, on what to wear-- Delta seems to be a pretty conservative company, so dress that way. I wore a button down white blouse, a black blazer jacket with black pants and heels. Keep it simple. Neutral makeup, have your hair pulled back out of your face, and wear minimal jewelry. Initially, when you get into the room upstairs, there are many flight attendants and HR reps all around you, introduce yourself to everyone and make light conversation with anyone you can. You are being watched the whole time so don't forget to smile. Part 1: My group (A) was first to interview, you get taken into a room with one HR rep and a flight attendant. They try to make you feel comfortable but it honestly it's a stressful experience. They don't want to know much personal information about you at all, and all my questions were work experience related. I feel like they didn't really want to get to know me for who I was and why I would be great working for Delta. Some of my questions were a tad repetitive and they hardly make eye contact because they are writing the entire time. Study up on STAR format questions. Part 2: I was taken into "Destination Delta" which was basically an introduce yourself for 15 seconds and then they flood you with information about Delta and basically "sell" you on the job. There are recruiters watching in the back. They tell you all about training and salary and what would be expected from you. I felt this part was pretty unnecessary because we all knew that there were many people there that day and only a small fraction would be hired. Part 3: Fireside chat was lead in a circle where you pick a question from the bowl in the middle of the table. They're pretty casual questions although you are definitely being evaluated on your responses. I had the question "what interests you about being a flight attendant?" You're put on the spot so quickly and unexpectedly! At the end of the day (about 4-5 hours later), by this point, you're famished and your face hurts so much from smiling. They all sit us down and deliberate quickly. Then they come back in and announce names to stay after. They named 5 people of the 40-50 of us that were there. I was not called. They told us to look for an email either way, but I've heard this is just a way to keep your hopes up. It was a little inappropriate that at the end of saying goodbye to us, the flight attendant said, "hope to see you all at training!" We were all disappointed and having that comment did not seem like the best method to say goodbye to us. That didn't sit well with me. I feel like they only use the "check your email" as a way to keep the positive image of the Delta brand and give candidates hope that's most likely not there. I kept in touch with many people I met there and so far no one has gotten an offer over email. They either want you that day or your chances are very slim to none to get a positive email. Hard to believe they only chose 5 people but I knew going in it was extremely competitive. It seemed unfair that they bring in 40-50 people only to disappoint most of them. The screening process before the face to face should have maybe been more thorough and given the ones invited to the face to face more of a chance to be hired if you got that far. The 5 that were chosen would have not been the ones I would have necessarily thought would be the best for the company. Two girls were very shy and quiet. They chose all young conservative reserved girls. It's hard to know what they were looking for. It seemed to me they wanted candidates who can make an impression without trying too hard, they don't necessarily seem to want the most outgoing friendly candidates but rather the people who fit their brand. There were even candidates who had previously worked for Delta, and some who had worked for other airlines that were not hired. I received my email about 4 days after my interview. I am disappointed but will be reapplying in 6 months when they are hiring again. Overall, it was a mildly positive experience and now I know exactly what to expect next time around.

      I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
