The entire recruitment process was very haphazard and rather unprofessional. The first round was telephonic and went well given that I was interviewed by a technical person however the final panel based interview was a sham. It looked as if they (a senior finance exec & a HR person) had already made up their minds on who was to be selected and the rest of the interviews were mere formalities. I was just asked to parrot back my CV to them and asked a few random questions (strength & weaknesses, family background!! etc). I for one am at a loss to understand HOW can anyone find any grounds for selection/rejection based on such questions. Not to mention the very high levels of disinterest shown by both interviewers was very unprofessional. I do not begrudge the fact that I was not offered a job - but the fact that my time was wasted on a pointless meeting is certainly not appreciated.

The interview process consisted of an initial HR screening to discuss my background, experience, and role expectations, followed by a technical interview focused on my core skills, problem-solving abilities, system design, and project experience. The final discussion covered cultural fit, leadership, and overall alignment with the organization's goals.
