The HR woman was nice, as was the hiring manager from the West Coast that interviewed me by phone.
In preparation for my onsite interview, I was given a long paragraph telling me that I would have to answer case study questions. It stated in bold, capital letters THIS WILL BE THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE INTERVIEW.
The email gave me several links to sample case study questions, and materials on how to prepare for case study questions.
At the interview I got no case study questions at all.
My first interviewer looked like he just stepped out of the gym with a beanie hat on. He was nice but seemed generally uninterested from the start. I think he had to fill in for somebody who was sick.
The second interviewer was a very pleasant guy via phone.
The third interviewer was very unpleasant to deal with and rude in general. He seemed to talk down to me in a condescending manner, and it sounded as if he was trying to interrogate me on why he shouldn't hire me, rather than speak to me about why I would be a fit to join the team.
The lack of the case study questions that I spent several days studying and preparing for threw me off for the interview, and the unpleasant manner of the 3rd interviewer was a huge turnoff.
