I first completed an online form and screening, followed by an onsite interview in Austin that left a disappointing impression. The interviewer spent a good five minutes emphasizing how most of their new hires come from Ivy League schools, which felt really pretentious to me. It’s disheartening because many talented candidates haven’t had the opportunity to attend an Ivy League school. This focus on pedigree over potential left me questioning the company’s values.
