J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Boeing (Seattle, WA) en août 2009
Entretien
As a hiring manager, the hiring process at Boeing is highly frustrating to bring in talent. Managers are so restricted by giving everyone an equal opportunity that the process of hiring someone is akin to trying make sense of IRS Tax Code while the rules continually change. The situational interview process is tedious, cumbersome, un-revealing, and both designed and guaranteed to produce the most mediocre of employees.
As an employee, the process of getting a new job in Boeing is laborious and frustrating. There is next to zero visibility when you're being seriously considered for a position or if you're just included in the candidate pool. Often job seekers won't learn for months if they're being considered because the internal job posting application keeps people "under consideration" until the position is filled - which can be months without an update.
