The HireVue started by showing some introductory videos. I then had to answer three questions, which I had 3 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes to answer for each of them.

The first stage involved submitting a CV and answering usual questions about grades etc on an online form. You then had to answer 3 questions via video recording. The question would come up, you’d have a few minutes to prepare, and then the time would start.
