Two 1 hour interviews, 30 minutes general questions, 30 minutes case study. The general part included questions related to motivation for the role (why consulting and not a different role such as marketing or sales, what do you want to do after the internship), knowledge about the company (name a few products manufactured by Bayer Material Science), background (why did you study ...) and competency-based questions (tell us about a time you lead a team). Case studies: 1. Was given a company's income statement over 5 years with 5 minutes to prepare and do some calculations. Questions then included: what's the problem (eg. profits are down), how would you fix it (giving specific examples and ideas). 2. Given the following scenario: a Bayer manager comes to you and tells you his revenues have decreased although market share has stayed constant. Figure out the problem and develop a marketing strategy to address it (5 P's etc.).

Es gibt einen Bewerbertag. Es ist eine gute Möglichkeit um die Situation (Assessment etc) zu üben. Allerdings finde ich es zu viel für ein Praktikum einen ganzen Tag zu veranstalten. Es gibt Gruppen Case und Einzel Case.
