Applied for a Management Trainee position online, got a call from the corporate recruiter 1 month later. He had me come in for the 2nd career briefing which was about 2 hours. I met with the branch manager afterward and he talked to me more about Bankers Life and I was able to ask specific questions about the position. He told me another interview would be set up and I went back in 2 days later. Spoke with another manager and he explained to me that since I didn't have prior sales experience that I had to complete their 3 month training program before being eligible for the management trainee position, and that most likely I would be have to be an agent for a year or so to be promoted.
The "interview" was more of a screening process. No questions were asked by the managers, they just outlined what the job entailed and allowed me to ask the questions.

At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.

It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
