Highly discriminatory - it dragged on for several months. I was told that if I made it to the 4th round, which I did, it was more a formality with the partner to seal the deal. But when the partner asked why I wanted to change jobs, I said I was wrapping up parental leave and ready for a new challenge. He then asked a bunch of personal, unethical and illegal questions about how I would juggle being a parent with the demands of a consultant, how my husband felt about me accepting the job and if I was emotional ready to return to work. He was Danish. Extremely concerning that this is the culture at Bain especially in "equal" countries in the Nordics. When I told the recruiter I was no longer interested in the job and explained what has happened, she cc:ed him in the email and told me I misinterpreted his line of questioning - also highly unethical. When I escalated this to a senior HR person, she seemed to listen and be concerned and told me she would get back to me to "conclude" the situation. I never heard from her again. Also when I asked people in the previous interview was work life balance was like they pretty much alluded to the fact that there wasn't any.
